Heating Installation, Service and Repair
Heating systems always seem to break down at the worst time. Being available when you need us in one of the things that makes us one of the top heating contractors in the Hamilton, Ohio and surrounding area. Our expert heating repair technicians can fix your gas or electric furnace, air handler, heat pump or wall furnace. We promise to get your system up and running quickly and conveniently.
Cooling
The most common central cooling system is a split system, which includes an outdoor cabinet containing a condenser coil and compressor, and an indoor evaporator coil, usually installed in conjunction with your furnace or air handler. The compressor pumps a chemical called refrigerant through the system.
Commercial HVAC
Miami Heating and Cooling provides design, installation and maintenance of advanced, energy-efficient HVAC systems that provide reliable comfort for light commercial buildings and small businesses. From retail stores to restaurants, schools to healthcare facilities, we design and install systems that improve comfort, reduce total cost of ownership, protect indoor air quality and simplify ongoing maintenance.
Air Conditioners
Miami Heating & Cooling offers the best variety and options for your home and your family's comfort. We install a variety of environmentally friendly systems that will give you peace of mind and save you money.
Heat Pumps
Heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners. Heat pumps use electricity to move heat from a cool space to a warm space, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer. During the heating season, heat pumps move heat from the cool outdoors into your warm house and during the cooling season, heat pumps move heat from your cool house into the warm outdoors. Because they move heat rather than generate heat, heat pumps can provide up to 4 times the amount of energy they consume.
Thermostats
A thermostat is the controls for your heating and cooling system which senses the temperature of your home so that the system's temperature is maintained near a desired set-point. The thermostat does this by monitoring and regulating the air flow and refrigerants as needed to maintain the desired temperature. Miami Heating & Cooling offers a variety of programmable thermostats. These thermostats can even control your humidity or remind you when to change your filter.
Air Quality
Indoor air pollution, building-related illness, and "sick building syndrome" have received increased attention over the last several years. Research, conducted by various agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has shown that the quality of indoor air can be many times worse than that of the outdoor air. Given the fact that many people spend as much as 90 percent of their time indoors, the health risk due to indoor air pollutants is a significant public health concern.
Our experts won’t just fix your immediate problem–they’ll warn you of anything else that could compromise your comfort, health or safety and offer remedies to ensure the care-free enjoyment of your comfort system. We do charge a nominal trip charge to come out and diagnose your problem but we’ll waive that charge if you have a repair. That fee varies by location and other factors, but we’ll certainly let you know what it is before we come out. Once we determine the problem, we’ll explain your options and quote you a firm price for the repair. That price is fixed so you never have to pay more for a technician who may not work as fast as another.
Once warm air inside your home blows across the indoor evaporator coil, its heat energy transfers to the refrigerant inside the coil. That transfer, in turn, “cools” the air. The refrigerant is pumped back to the compressor where the cycle begins again. The heat absorbed by the refrigerant is moved outside your home while cooled air is blown inside. Moisture that contributes to humidity is also condensed out of the air.
Your cooling system is usually combined with your central heating system because they share the same ductwork for distributing conditioned air throughout your home.
