For best performance it is suggested air conditioning maintenance be conducted twice per year, once in the spring before the demands of the peak cooling season and once in the fall before the heating season. All manufacturers recommend having equipment serviced annually. Many manufacturers require, as a condition of the limited warranty, having the covered equipment serviced at least once per year by a licensed HVAC contractor.
